Solo walk
I visit Dekorte park regularly as it's one of the closest and has interesting trails to walk, observe and get some exercise.

Dekorte Park 10/09/26

A solo walk
When other plans fell through, I went for a walk at Dekorte park. A cool day but not windy, so some sparrows were active.
  • An Egret on a nesting box and in the background, a Great Blue Heron
  • A mix of Sandpipers and Yellowlegs on one of the man-made islands
  • An Osprey was hovering and here is ready to dive, unfortunately the surface was hidde from view
